Blitz Bike: Squeaking near pedalsUpdated 10 months ago
Squeaks are usually best treated with 100% silicone spray, we recommend getting a spray can with the straw attachment for precision spraying. Avoid getting it on any electrical components and anywhere that you walk, sit or grip — it's extremely slippery.
Please do not use regular WD-40 spray on your Blitz Bike. It's good at repelling water and at fighting rust, but it isn't a great long-lasting lubricant and can degrade the lubricant that is already on the bike.
While slowly turning the pedal, spraying the areas that I've indicated in the attached picture should do the trick. The big emphasis is trying to get a small about of the spray into the grooves where the rotating parts are housed, to provide some lubrication to those components.
