Do I need to bolt the Hydra Rack to the floor?Updated 12 days ago
Bolting the rack to the floor or a lifting platform is always the most secure option, but it’s not mandatory if you’re lifting inside the rack. If you’re lifting outside the rack (barbell exercises, dips, lever arm movements) and don't want to bolt your rack down:
- The Flat Foot Rack is a stable option
- The 4 Post Rack can be paired with Front Foot Stabilizers for additional stability
- The 6 Post Rack features a large footprint & weight where bolting down isn't required
